The day is finally here to reveal the e-design for my baby girl's nursery! This project has been truly special because this is a space that will grow right along with my little girl!
The theme I picked for my little girl's nursery is girly chinoiserie. I have always loved chinoiserie style decor and it was an easy decision for the nursery. I love how it is youthful but not babyish whatsoever (remember my 3 tips for designing a nursery?!). My basic color scheme is blue, white, and pink with some other accent colors here and there. I designed the entire nursery around the beautiful rug (obsessed!); it sure is a fantastic statement piece for the entire room! Ok, enough blabbing. Here is my girly chinoiserie nursery e-design!
As you can see, I chose to keep all the furniture a crisp white to allow all of the colors to really pop! I had been hoarding those six chinoiserie botanical art prints for quite some time, and I was thrilled to finally have the perfect place to showcase them. I'm sure you recognize those fabulous butterfly/moth prints from my last Etsy Finds post! I'm also loving the two blue and white lamps I picked out, one of which you'll recognize from my latest Look For Less post. And of course, we can't ignore that adorable faux fur ottoman. So in love.
I have been working hard on setting up the nursery and I can't wait to show you the finished space in a month or two! I will be 30 weeks pregnant this week so I hope to finish it sooner rather than later! Stay tuned for pictures of the finished room as well as more source details. So exciting!
