Last year, I came across John Robshaw's "Laal" coral block print pillow and couldn't get it out of my mind. The print is so lovely and eye catching. I knew I could make room for it in our home!

So last month, when I saw it on sale at Bloomingdale's, I immediately purchased two of them. These two beauties are now sitting pretty in my family room! I can't stop admiring them- the color is so much more vivid in person, which was a pleasing surprise.
The close-up shot really captures the imperfectness of the block print. Remember, the original fabric print was block printed by hand!
All of his block print pillows are unique and would dress up any bed, chair, or sofa! A cool look would be for one to layer a bunch of his prints all together! I made a little rendering of some of his pillows I might choose to group together. Somehow all of the different prints mix and match quite easily. Be brave and mix prints!
